Tips and/or tricks for Glory of Generals

These are some tips and/or tricks that almost everyone can use for Glory of Generals.

1. Upgrade your Commander first. The Commander is very important in campaigns, so upgrade him first.

2. In campaigns, try to get a '5 star' rating at a level's first completion. A '5 star' rating will be awarded if you finish before or at the 'Great Victory' limit. It will give you an extra 50 medals, sometimes it's better to restart a level that has passed the 'Great Victory' limit and get a '5 star' rating rather than finish the level and get only a '3 star'(15/10 medals) or '2 star'(5 medals).

3. Best extra generals to buy with less than 700 medals is Dietrich (2 medals for Infantry and 3 medals for artilerry), Kulle(2 Infantry and 2 Tanks) or Crace(2 Air and 2 Sea).

4. You can stock up medals to at least 2070 to buy either Rommel (2070 medals), Guderian (1924 medals), Patton (1911 medals) or Vatutin (1120 medals). All of the 4 mentioned has best medals(gold) for tanks.

5. Best Scenarios/levels to get medals :
- Sicily Campaign, Legion Mode : Western Front, use Patton or Rommel
- Invasion of North America, Campaign : Western Front Axis or Legion Mode : Western Front, use Guderian or Patton or Eisenhower
- Fate of the Reich, Campaign : Western Front Allies
- The Desert Fox, Legion Mode : North African, use Rommel
- Operation Battleaxe, Legion Mode : North African, use Rommel
- Attack Tunisia, Legion Mode : North African, use Rommel or Patton
- Operation Barbarossa, Legion Mode : Eastern Front, use Vatutin
- Defend Leningrad, Legion Mode : Eastern Front, use Vatutin
- Europe 1939, Legion Mode : Western Front, use Weygand or Guderian or Rommel or Zhukov
- Europe 1943, Legion Mode : Western Front, use Vatutin or Rommel or Patton or Guderian or Zhukov or Montgomery
- North African 1942, Legion Mode : North African, use Patton or Weygand or Rommel or Montgomery

6. After upgrading the Commander, it's advised to upgrade the Financial Center so you can get resources without having any town or factories or ports or airports.

7. Try to upgrade your Commander first to 2 stripes and 1 bar(all silver or gray) then to 3 stars(3 medals for tanks).

8. Be patient and try new things. For example, can you survive by using Christian in Operation Weserubung in Legion Mode? Or try to defeat the Nazis by using Smigly in March on Warsaw in Legion Mode? Or even win with Boris at Balkans Campaign in Legion Mode? From playing near-impossible scenarios, you can learn how to keep your troops survive longer, use the best of things, know some more tips and tricks and get a few medals on the way.
